DASW Programme: Your Path to a New Career.

Do you have experience working with people? Do you want to make a difference and help vulnerable adults? Are you passionate about social justice? Do you like to problem solve and enjoy working with others? An apprenticeship in Adult Social Care could be for you!


Sandwell MBC Adult Services are opening their DASW programme to external applicants providing:


  • A 3-year investment in Level 6 BA (Hons) Social Work Degree

  • Dedicated (in-house) learning practitioner to support in your new social work apprenticeship role

  • Relevant work experience throughout your apprenticeship

  • Full training programme provided throughout the apprenticeship and continuous professional development once qualified

  • An excellent social work programme delivered by Warwick University. 


The application deadline is February 28, 2025, and the next cohort will begin in September 2025. You will be invited to a brief session with Warwick University and Social Work Practitioners in February 2025 to learn more about the program and job role.
