This research opportunity is aimed at men aged 20-40 exposed to domestic abuse as children
Jessica Wagner is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at BCU, and a postgraduate research student at UCLan. Jessica is looking to recruit UK based men (aged 20 – 40) who were exposed to domestic abuse as children but have non-violent, heterosexual relationships as adults.
Jessica is exploring participants’ perceptions of coping, strengths, and resilience and how childhood experiences may have influenced, if at all, participants’ perspective of their own non-violent relationships. The study involves one face to face interview, and one follow up online interview.
Participants will receive a £20 Amazon voucher as a thank you for their time. If you are interested in taking part, or wish to hear more about this study, please contact Jessica on JWagner@uclan.ac.uk
Please feel free to share this study widely with people you know.
