CPD Opportunity - Become a Teaching Consultant.

We are looking for enthusiastic social workers who wish to join us in collaborative, innovative curriculum delivery as part of a project which will run from July 2024 until June 2025.  



This is an exciting developmental opportunity to share your skills and knowledge with social work students, contribute to the workforce and develop your professional portfolio.


Each Teaching Consultant will be given a programme of work based on their skills, knowledge and expertise and the needs of the universities. The activities they undertake may also include supporting admissions and recruitment to courses and the development of students’ employability. 


Teaching Consultants commit up to 6 days to support curriculum delivery within their linked HEI. This time is protected by their employer, so it is essential that all Teaching Consultants have permission from their line manager. please see the below documents to find full details.

Expression of Interest - March 24

You will need to complete the above Expression of Interest form, including a supporting statement evidencing how you meet the criteria (which can be found in the above "information for social workers" doc). The Expression of Interest form must be signed by your line manager and emailed to  westmidlandsteachingpartnership@coventry.gov.uk . The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday the 10th of May 2024.
