EVENT OUTLINE
This 2 hour session will focus on undertaking social work assessments digitally, delivered by a highly skilled Practice Educator. During this session you can explore the challenges you have faced during the past year on the Programme and share best practice.
Aim
To explore the challenges, ethical considerations, and practicalities of performing social work contacts and assessment using digital platforms.
Learning Outcomes
To examine up to date research and best practice in performing social work contacts and assessments using digital platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
To examine ethical dilemmas, practical issues, and issues arising from the assessment and management of risk using digital platforms
The Communities of Practice Group will enable participants to share their learning, knowledge and experience of performing social work contacts and assessments digitally. This shared learning will enable all participants to increase their confident and skills in this area.
