About the Event
This PWLE seminar is open to members of the West Midlands Social Work Teaching Partnership. Please see below our Partner organisations.
Join us for an inspiring and thought-provoking session led by the Dandelions group, a collective of parents with lived experience who are passionate about improving children’s services. Through storytelling, reflection, and open dialogue, you’ll explore the real-world impact of co-production and how collaborative approaches can lead to meaningful change. Expect honest conversations, practical insights, and a renewed understanding of the power of partnership in social work.
Facilitator Bio: The Dandelions group gathers voices and experiences from parents across Telford to influence service design and delivery. Their mission is rooted in empathy and collaboration: “We are not here to throw stones, we are here to help build bridges.” With a deep commitment to creating supportive services for children and families, the group brings a wealth of lived experience and a passion for co-production that challenges and inspires contemporary social work practice.
