We are hosting a Professional Curiosity training session delivered by Jill Webb, an independent trainer, which will support practitioners to define and understand the significance of professional curiosity and evaluate their own skills in relation to the concept.

About the Event
Jill Webb will be the lead trainer for this course. Jill has over 30 years of safeguarding experience in both paid – working in both the statutory and community sectors – and volunteer – including a role as Lead Volunteer for Safeguarding In Girl guiding.
Along with her hands on experience, Jill brings many years of training and facilitation ensuring that the sessions are planned and run to be participative and engaging.
For all virtual sessions, Jill will be joined by one of her team of associate trainers who bring their own experience to the training. We look forward to working with you!
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
Define professional curiosity
Understand the significance of professional curiosity
Develop an awareness of what can go wrong when we do not use professional curiosity
Provide examples of both proper and improper applications of professional curiosity
Evaluate their own skills in relation to professional curiosity
Reflect on the influence of personal bias
Recognise the connection between professional curiosity and professional boundaries
Identify two ways of how they will change or develop their practice to embed the use of Professional Curiosity in the future.
