Driving participation across the region

The Teaching Partnership is pleased to introduce Shianne Kinchen to the Project Team who will be supporting our participation work.

My first few weeks working with the Teaching Partnership have been pretty good. I enjoy learning new things, meeting and working with new people. It's been slightly difficult to get my head around the type of work the team do and the correct terms which are used within the Teaching Partnership. However, the team is great, very welcoming and has already made me feel apart of the team.

Recently, I have been working on some work for a Regional Participation Workshop event where lead participation workers attend and talk about the work they do. We looked at what they want as a network and how we can make a real difference.

The event ran smoothly and the feedback from the day was really positive. We gathered a lot of information and next step ideas from the activities we planned throughout the day.

I am looking forward to see what experiences I can gain from my role within the Teaching Partnership Team. I’m also excited to learn more to enhance my own knowledge and career within my role.
